Vladimir Lukovich, a senior associate with the Kiev law firm of Frishberg & Partners, was one of the speakers at the opening of the Investment Support web-portal of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, on April, 16. The event was organized by Softline, one of the leading soft line developers in Ukraine. The portal is aimed to support investors providing them with the latest information about Ukraine’s investment climate, as well as promoting the country on the international arena. In his presentation, Mr. Lukovich emphasized the importance of obtaining the latest information in rapidly changing legal and political environment and stressed upon the high value of close collaboration between different state organizations. Mr. Lukovich added that the web-portal, the first official informational portal of Ukraine, is a great leap forward. Alex Frishberg of the law offices of Frishberg & Partners speaks on the Ukrainian investment climate for the representatives of the Russel 20-20 Association On October 30th, Alex Frishberg, senior partner of the law offices of Frishberg & Partners, held a presentation on the peculiarities of doing business in Ukraine for the representatives of the Russel 20-20 Association. The Russel 20-20 Association unites the largest institutional investors involved in the research of potentially attractive markets for investment. Nevertheless, Mr. Frishberg stressed that Ukraine is one of the fastest growing markets and has opportunities no longer available in other countries, including extremely low labor and production costs.
